With an all-star cast of 23 performers, White Rabbit Red Rabbit will run at London's @sohoplace (Death of England) later this year.

The play has no set, no director, no preparation. Each performer simply walks onstage, removes their script from an envelope for the first time, and begins their performance. The play aims to create a unique performance every night, with a different actor taking on the challenge in every performance.

First produced in 2011 as a joint production between Edinburgh Fringe and Summerworks festival, White Rabbit Red Rabbit has been performed over 3000 in 30 different languages. Notable previous performers include: John Hurt, Whoopi Goldberg, Nathan Lane, and Billy Porter.

The show, which is a comedy-drama, was written by Iranian playwright Nassim Soleimanpour at a time when he was forbidden to leave his country. He says that it "is as much about contemporary Iran as it is about power dynamics in the rest of the world."
