Elton John's latest musical theatre foray The Devil Wears Prada has announced its first extension.


The Devil Wears Prada, which officially opened after last week's Charity Gala Night, follows the story of Andy Sachs, a writer trying to make it big in New York City. When she takes a job working as 2nd assistant to Miranda Priestly at the illustrious Runway, a job millions of girls would kill to have, she has to question whether she really is a 'Miranda Girl'.


Starring Vanessa Williams as Miranda Priestly, Georgie Buckland (Shrek the Musical) as Andy, Amy di Bartolomeo (Six) as Emily, and Matt Henry (Kinky Boots) as Nigel, the show is directed and choreographed by Jerry Mitchell (Legally Blonde) with a book by Kate Wetherhead and lyrics by Shaina Taub and Mark Sonnenblick.


Despite opening to a host of 2-star reviews from various outlets, the musical has become the fastest-selling show at the Dominion Theatre and has extended booking until 18 October 2025.
