New Tina and Ike Turner Announced

Zoe Birkett (Moulin Rouge!) and Rolan Bell (Memphis) are set to join the cast of Tina: The Tina Turner Musical in the roles of Tina and Ike Turner respectively. The role of Tina will be shared between Birkett and Karis Anderson, who is currently playing Tina in the West End.

The show, which is set to have a cast change soon, has yet to reveal any further casting. However, producer Tali Pelman said: “We are absolutely thrilled that Zoe and Rolan will be joining Karis to lead our company from 25 June.

“Having just celebrated our sixth birthday in the West End, we continue to be extremely proud of the whole company who tell Tina’s incredible story and blow the roof off the Aldwych Theatre eight shows a week!”

Directed by Phyllida Lloyd (Mamma Mia!) with choreography by Anthony van Laast and casting by Pippa Ailion and Natalie Gallacher, the show is based on Tina's life and tells of her rise to fame, through her music.

Currently in its sixth year in the West End, Tina: The Tina Turner Musical plays at the Aldwych Theatre and is currently booking until June 2025. Tickets can be found here.
