New Cast Announced for Moulin Rouge!

About to enter it's third exciting year, Moulin Rouge! the Musical have today announced the latest cast to be joining the windmill.
Natalie Kassanga (Crazy for You, Motown), will take over the role of Satine with Dom Simpson (The Book of Mormon) continuing in the role of Christian. They will be joined by Dex Lee (Doctors) as Toulouse-Lautrec and Craig Ryder as Harold Zidler (Ryder is the current Walking Cover Harold Zidler/The Duke).
The full cast includes Ben Richards (Emmerdale) as the Duke, Ivan De Freitas (& Juliet, Aladdin) as Santiago, Charlotte Gooch (Cats, Dirty Dancing) as Nini, Hannah Jay-Allan (Beautiful) and Helen K Wint (Oklahoma!) alternating the role of Arabia. Bernadette Bangura (My Fair Lady) as La Chocolat, and Angela Marie Hurst (Tina: The Tina Turner Musical) as Alternate Satine. Matteo Johnson (Bat Out of Hell) will take over the role of Baby Doll.
The cast of ensemble and swing performers includes Oliver Adam-Reynolds, Takaiyah Bailey, Erin Bell, Emily Bolland, Ross Chisari, Athena Collins, James Davies-Williams, Katie Deacon, Serenar Douch, Rola Elliott, Myles Hart, Grace Hawksworth, Maiya Hikasa, Melvin LeBlanc, Tom Mather, Kira McPherson, Paul Mukembo, Dean Read, Ben Rutter, Gavin Ryan, Mark Samaras, Jamie Shields, Catrin Thomas, Lindsey Tierney, Alex Tranter, Matt Trevorrow, Kevin Tristan, Ben Whitnall, and Sasha Woodward.
Based on the 2001 Oscar Winning movie starring Ewan McGregor and Nicole Kidman, Moulin Rouge! the Musical follows the tumultuous love affair between Christian, a young poet, and Satine, the star of the iconic Parisian cabaret, set against the backdrop of bohemian Montmartre. As they navigate their forbidden romance, they become trapped in a web of ambition and deciet, all whilst trying to produce a groundbreaking performace to save the Moulin Rouge.
