Mawaan Rizwan to Star in Rocky Horror Show

BAFTA Winner, and star of Juice and Taskmaster, Mawaan Rizwan is set to make his West End debut in The Rocky Horror Show this autumn.
Joining the previously announced Jason Donovan (Grease, Joseph), Rizwan will take on the role of The Narrator whilst the tour stops for three weeks at the Dominion Theatre in London’s West End.
The role has previously been played by fellow British icons Stephen Fry, Anthony Head, Mel Giedroyc, Adrian Edmundson and Emma Bunton who all previously took on the part of The Narrator in the show’s last foray in the West End - a charity gala at London’s Playhouse theatre in 2015.
On joining the production, Rizwan said: “Rocky Horror was such a formative show for me as a performer, so I’m very excited and honoured to be a part of bringing it back
“I can’t wait for audiences to experience this joyously anarchic classic once again!”
The Rocky Horror Show runs at London’s Dominion Theatre from 6th August - 21st August 2024.
