Adam Gillen and Katherine Langford to Join Cabaret

The West End’s production of Cabaret has seen it’s fair amount of star casting including the likes of global superstar Cara Delevingne and Oscar winner Eddie Redmayne. From 23 September the show will welcome Olivier nominee Adam Gillen as Emcee and Golden Globe nominee Katherine Langford as Sally Bowles. They take over from the current leads Layton Williams and Rhea Norwood who exit the show on 21 September.
Gillen is best known for his role as the ditsy but adorable Liam in the ITV comedy Benidorm but has since continued to play an array of characters on both television and stage. His previous stage credits include Amadeus, Romeo and Juliet, Henry VIII and Killer Joe.
Langford is most known for her role as Hannah Baker in the Netflix series 13 Reasons Why, which earned her global fame. Her other notable TV credits include in the whodunnit Knives out, the TV series Cursed and the romantic comedy Love, Simon. This will be her West End debut.
Also joining the cast of Cabaret on 23 September is Daniel Bowerbank (Machinal) as Clifford Bradshaw and Fred Haig (Rock Follies) as Ernst Ludwig. They will also be joined by Xenoa Campbell-Ledgister, Sam Darius, Adrian Grove, Justin-Lee Jones, Alexandra Regan, Marina Tavolieri, Ben Simon Wilson, Wojna and Lucy Young.
Continuing in the production will be Sally Ann Triplett as Fraulein Schneider, Fenton Gray as Herr Schultz and Jessica Kirton as Fraulein Kost/Fritzie, alongside Damon Gould, El Haq Latief, Ela Lisondra, Hícaro Nicolai, Andy Rees and Patrick Wilden.
Cabaret is currently playing at the Kit Kat Club (The Playhouse Theatre).
